Sufi Whirling is a practice of devotion and healing, too, and originated thousands of years ago with the ancient Persians using it as a way to connect the body and soul. Please wear comfortable clothing and plan to wear socks or soft-soled shoes and avoid eating a large meal 1-2 hours prior.
Farima is an internationally acclaimed dance artist, a dance ethnologist, choreographer, instructor, and an archaeologist specializing in ancient, sacred, classical, and folkloric dances of Persia and the Silk Road.
