Sound Healing with Julie
Julie Kalua is a sound practitioner and experiential guide whose work is rooted in deep listening, embodied presence, and the understanding that the body already knows what it needs.
Her sessions blend crystal singing bowls, gong, drum, rattle, and voice to create the conditions for release, clarity, and return. Every session is participatory and guided — not passive. You will be met exactly where you are.
Every session takes place inside a dedicated sanctuary at East West Bookshop — a softly lit room built around a museum-grade, 1.2 million carat amethyst geode.

Amethyst Sound Journey Group experience · Amethyst sanctuary · Up to 8 people Arrive 10–15 minutes before start time to secure your spot on the floor
90 minutes total. The session opens with guided breathing and meditation to settle the body and prepare you for what's coming. Sound begins at the 20-minute mark and runs for approximately 50 minutes. The final 15 minutes are held for grounding and sharing — time to come back slowly and speak if something moved through you.
No experience needed.

A private, intentionally held sound healing experience guided by Julie Kalua and aligned with a rare, museum-grade Amethyst geode. The session includes guided arrival, 45–50 minutes of focused sound immersion using crystal bowls, gong, and other instruments, followed by grounding and integration for a smooth return.
