Today, as our human family faces many challenges, it is more important than ever that we find peace and sustenance in our hearts. Lama Palden Drolma introduces an ancient Tibetan Buddhist meditation—Tonglen—in which practitioners breathe in the suffering of others and breathe out compassion. She will also share on-the-spot practices for each of the eight steps of the complete practice, which can be practiced anywhere and everywhere in daily life, as well as on in your personal meditation practice.
Lama Drolma is author of Love on Every Breath. A licensed psychotherapist, spiritual teacher, and coach, she has studied Buddhism in the Himalayas with some of the most preeminent Tibetan masters of the twentieth century. Following a traditional three-year retreat under the guidance of Kalu Rinpoche, he authorized her to become one of the first Western lamas. She is founder of Sukhasiddhi Foundation, a Tibetan Buddhist teaching center in Fairfax, California.
