The Illusion of Life and Death

“Dying is easy,” said Clare Goldsberry’s partner as he was passing away.

What is life? What is death? Who hasn't pondered this great transition? How do we face into it with courage and awareness? Goldsberry explores these eternal questions with answers from Judeo-Christianity, Eastern philosophies, quantum science, and ageless wisdom. We'll be guided in a meditation and have time for sharing among participants.

Author Goldsberry’s book, The Illusion of Life and Death, explores what it means to live fearlessly and die gracefully. Her journey includes working with the elderly and ill whose beliefs and fears about dying often cause grave suffering. This workshop is an outgrowth of caring for her partner, Brent, who eventually died from esophageal cancer. As a Hospice volunteer for two years after his death, she became acutely aware of how important this knowledge is for both the dying and and their families.

Clare Goldsberry is a life-long student of religion and a spiritual seeker who has embraced an eclectic form of theology that spans the ages from Hinduism and Buddhism, to the philosophies of the Ancient Wisdom teachers and to quantum physics. Learn more.
