Back by popular demand after last year’s full-house event. Join us at Unity Palo Alto for our second year of Soundscapes—an unforgettable evening of transformative and healing sound. The evening will feature sound workers and musicians from around the Bay Area, including host and percussionist David DiLullo, sound worker Loriel Starr, globally acclaimed didjeridu artist Stephen Kent, and multi-instrumentalist Bodhi Setchko. Seating is concert-style in the main sanctuary. No yoga mat is needed. There is sufficient parking, but carpooling is recommended.

David DiLullo is a percussionist, drum circle facilitator and sound worker. He is the organizer of the Sacred Sound Meditation in San Jose. David has also led inspirational drumming events and team-building for Marianne Williamson, Cheri Huber, Deepak Chopra and Fortune 500 companies around the Bay Area. David plays a number of world instruments incorporating a blended freestyle technique to create new sounds and motifs. He is endorsed by drum companies Remo Inc., and Vic Firth, Inc. David is a Shamanic practitioner, and the Spiritual Director of Unity San Jose.  Learn more

Stephen Kent has been a globally acclaimed player of the ancient Australian Aboriginal didgeridoo for over 30 years. He has pioneered its use in contemporary music across the world, collaborating with noted musicians such as Brazil's Airto Moreira, India's Zakir Hussain, Tuva’s Chirgilchin, American Indian flute legend R.Carlos Nakai and Habib Koite from Mali. His ground-breaking band projects, Baraka Moon, Trance Mission and Lights in a Fat City have received widespread acclaim.  As a solo performer, he has toured in 5 continents, producing an extraordinary layering of sounds and grooves and creating an almost orchestral ambience with this primal instrument. Stephen is also a respected radio producer, hosting KPFA’s Music of the World (and now Off the Beaten Path) for the past 23 years. Learn more.

Bodhi Setchko has been working with sound meditation, sound healing and sacred sound journeys for over 40 years. He has studied with Tito La Rosa, Paul Horn, Allaudin Mathieu and many other artists. Around the globe, his music is used in yoga studios, health spas, and health practitioners offices. His music has had millions of plays on Pandora, Spotify and other streaming sites. He is a professional musician, songwriter, composer, recording artist, producer, teacher & band leader. The founder of recording ensembles, CRYSTAL WIND and RHYTHM MATRIX, he has 16 original CD’s in his portfolio. With a deep love of nature and many years’ experience as a wilderness guide, playing his flute in the forest, Bodhi developed his own unique style of improvisation within the healing music modalities. He offers group and private sound healing journeys for concerts, festivals, yoga classes, meditation groups, retreats and conferences. Learn more.

Loriel Starr is a Certified Sound Healing Practitioner and a graduate of The California Institute of Integral Studies’ “Sound, Voice and Music in the Healing Arts” program.  She produces and performs in a variety of sound meditation events in the greater SF Bay Area; including “The Sound Mandala Experience”, which features an extraordinary ensemble of 7 gongs, over 40 singing bowls and numerous sound healing instruments. She is a member of San Francisco’s, “Sound Healing Symphony” at Grace Cathedral and offers her sound meditation work through workshops, corporate wellness programs and her private practice.
