Join us at Unity Palo Alto for this special evening of sound healing music. The evening will feature sound workers and musicians from around the bay area including our host and percussionist David DiLullo, multi-instrumentalist Todd Boston, singer/song-writer Jennifer Berezan with vocalist Chris Webster, globally acclaimed didjeridu artist Stephen Kent, sound worker Loriel Starr, and Grammy-nominated musician Steven Halpern. David DiLullo is a percussionist, drum circle facilitator and sound worker. He is the organizer of the Sacred Sound Meditation in San Jose. David has also led inspirational drumming events and team-building for Marianne Williamson, Cheri Huber, Deepak Chopra and Fortune 500 companies around the Bay Area. David plays a number of world instruments incorporating a blended freestyle technique to create new sounds and motifs. Jennifer Berezan is a singer/songwriter, teacher and activist. Over the course of 10 albums she has developed and explored recurring themes with a rare wisdom. Her lifelong involvement in environmental, womens and other justice movements as well as her Buddhist practice and interest in earth based spirituality are at the heart of her work. She tours internationally and is an acclaimed producer of events including Praises for the World and Song for All Beings. She has collaborated with Bruce Cockburn, Jack Kornfield, Joanna Macy, Eve Ensler, Alice Walker and Olympia Dukakis. She teaches in the graduate department at CIIS, SF. Todd Boston is a Billboard Top Ten Guitarist/Multi-Instrumentalist and has spent over 30 years studying and cultivating a deep relationship to sound and the power of music as a tool for personal transformation and growth. He is an international touring artist and has shared his music at festivals, performing arts theaters, yoga studios, and other venues around the world. Stephen Kent has been a globally acclaimed player of the ancient Australian Aboriginal didgeridoo for over 30 years. Loriel Starr is a Certified Sound Healing Practitioner and a graduate of The California Institute of Integral Studies’ “Sound, Voice and Music in the Healing Arts” program. She produces and performs in a variety of sound meditation events in the greater SF Bay Area; including “The Sound Mandala Experience”, which features an extraordinary ensemble of 7 gongs, over 40 singing bowls and numerous sound healing instruments.
