Join authors Colette Lafia and Carl McColman for a conversation about the nature of the spiritual heart and how it can illuminate the path to greater joy and intimacy with the Divine and life. Drawing from Christian contemplative wisdom, they will share insights from some of their favorite mystics and how these teachings have formed their writing and lives. A guided meditation or contemplative practice will also be offered. This promises to be a heart-centered dialogue and a time to reflect on what it means to have a spiritual worldview.

Colette Lafia is a San Francisco-based writer, spiritual director, and retreat leader who has a passion for helping people connect more deeply with the presence of the sacred in daily life. She is the author of The Divine Heart: Seven Ways to Live In Love and Comfort and Joy: Simple Ways to Care for Ourselves and Others, named one of the top spiritual books of the year. Learn more about Colette.

Carl McColman is a contemplative writer, speaker, teacher, soul friend, and storyteller. He is the author of The Big Book of Christian Mysticism, An Invitation to Celtic Wisdom, and Eternal Heart: the Mystical Path to a Joyful Life (coming in June 2021). Learn more about Carl.
